GOVERNMENT
Fort Belvoir, VA Army Materiel Command Housing
In 2003, Stratton Securities, Incorporated secured $30 million in financing for the contractor to complete this 230,000-square-foot office complex for 1,200 people.
Stratton then purchased this transaction from the contractor, provided interim funding for the building manufacturers and finally, negotiated purchase options with the United States government.
This structure afforded the government the flexibility required to work within their operating and capital budget.
Fort Benning, GA Barracks
For barracks in grave need of repair, Stratton first provided financing for the contractor to make $450,000 in urgent renovations in 1999, then arranged another $13 million for a completely new structure in 2004.
Hill Air Force Base, Utah
Stratton purchased 181 containers, provided interim funding for the transportation, inspection and all other logistical operations. Project financing was provided for an assortment of 20 foot containers and 40 foot containers to be used by The United States Air Force for tactical aerial training. Just another example of how Stratton helps dealers and customers in non-traditional ways.
U.S. Naval Base, Gulfport MS
The Navy needed a 46,000 sq. ft. barracks, a 3,200 sq. ft. classroom and a 6,000 sq. ft. administration building constructed quickly. But government approvals were slow to come through, and didn’t come at the same time. Working with dealer Alutiiq, LLC International Solutions, Stratton arranged a 36-month operating lease in advance of acceptance.
COMMERCIAL
America West Airlines Terminal, Phoenix, AZ
In 1987, America West Airlines was in financial distress, but also in urgent need of a temporary terminal at Sky Harbor Airport. Stratton provided $2.5 million for PBS Building Systems, the dealer, in the form of a three-year lease.
Donald Trump Golf Club, L.C. West Palm Beach, FL
Working with American Custom Modular, Stratton provided a 24-month operating lease to finance a 28’ x 72’ building to house an interim pro shop and sales office at this exclusive golf venue in 1999.
EDUCATION
Omega Charter School, Phoenix AZ
The school needed two classroom buildings, a total of 4,500 square feet, to accommodate its students. To help optimize cash flow, Stratton provided an 84-month operating lease with quarterly payments, and included all equipment and furniture in the lease package.
Park View Baptist School, Baton Rouge LA
Comark Building Systems sought Stratton’s help for Park View to purchase a sorely needed 24’ x 64’ classroom building with very limited funds. Stratton arranged a low monthly lease rate with an end-of-lease option to buy, and included financing for delivery, set-up, site prep, utilities and other “soft” costs.
HEALTH CARE
Children’s Hospital of Los Angeles
Stratton secured $2.5 million in construction financing for PBS Building Systems to construct a 150-bed modular wing in 1987.
OTHER
Jesus People Ministries, Miami, FL
In 1994, this congregation consisted of 21 people meeting in a high school auditorium. But they had big plans and needed a big church – on a small budget. Through an innovative, 108-month lease with purchase option, Stratton helped the church obtain a $1.5 million, 40,000-square-foot building by Advanced Modular Systems. Today, the church has more than 2,000 members—and is still growing.
Rolling Strong Fitness Centers, Jamestown NM
Building gyms for truck drivers was an innovative idea. In fact, it was so innovative, it wasn’t easy to finance. Stratton provided operating leases so that Comark Building Systems could construct several 1,000 and 2,000 sq. ft. facilities.
